Rep. Bellock, People’s Resource Center team up to sponsor school supplies drive

WESTMONT– Local residents wishing to donate school supplies to students in need for the upcoming school year can do so at the District Office of State Representative Patti Bellock, located in the Westmont Centre at 1 S. Cass Avenue, Suite 205 from now through Friday, July 22. The school supplies drive is coordinated by People’s Resource Center. 

The list of items that can be donated include: Backpacks, Binders, Colored Pencils, Composition Books, Crayons - 8 Count & 24 Count, Dry Erase Markers, Erasers, Folders, Glue/Glue Sticks, Highlighters, Index Cards, Loose Leaf Paper, Markers - Thin & Broad Size, Notebooks, Pencils, Pencil Case, Pencil Sharpeners, Protractors, Rulers, Scientific calculators, Scissors, and Spiral Notebooks - Wide & College Ruled.

The deadline to drop-off school supplies for the donation drive at Rep. Bellock’s office is Friday, July 22.  Other drop-off locations include the Jewel-Osco at 4 E. Ogden Ave. in Westmont and the People’s Resource Center offices at 104 Chestnut Avenue in Westmont and 201 S Naperville Road in Wheaton.
